Media Platforms Design Team

Like most adolescent girls in braces, I got a thrill out of choosing my "colors" for my rubbers bands each month, favoring themes such as holiday or alternating neon brights. And now as an adult, the excitement of those tiny little pops of personality is back. Two top NYC orthodontists, Drs. Marc Lemchen and Jennifer Salzer, tapped Lulu Frost's Lisa Salzer (and sister of the latter) to help create a bracelet that is crafted entirely out of materials found in their offices. Power chains, metal brackets and a rainbow of rubber bands come together to create an all-fun, mixed-media accessory where more is definitely merrier. And what better way to put a positive spin on your teenage dental angst than with an armful of adult-approved bangles? Braced-Lets ($4.99) are available on bracedlets.com.
