In a recent appearance on BBC 1 Radio, the One Directioner-turned-solo artist-turned actor took on the Heart Monitor Challenge, where he reacted to a series of photos while a medical machine tracked his heart rate. Though Styles fluctuated around 60 to 70 beats per minute, one thing made him spike over 80 bpm: Ryan Gosling.
"Looking very handsome," Styles responded to a shirtless pic of Gosling from The Notebook.
After seeing pictures of Zayn Malik, model Camille Rowe, and even a briefcase full of cash, only one other picture got Styles' heartbeat to race past 100 bpm: Chelsea boots, his signature shoe. Even just looking at the footwear got him flushed.
