Meghan Markle Wears Little Black Dress in Germany With Prince Harry

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have made it to Germany for the 2023 Invictus Games.

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex held a friends-and-family reception at an event room at Düsseldorf Airport, ahead of the sporting tournament.

For the occasion, Meghan looked lovely in a little black dress. The pleated midi from Banana Republic Factory featured white buttons and mid-length sleeves. (It’s also currently on sale for just $70.) The duchess cinched the dress with a braided black leather belt and styled it with black suede pumps. As for accessories, she opted for a gold watch and a colorful beaded friendship bracelet that reads I am Invictus—a nod to the motto of the games her husband founded.

Harry coordinated with Meghan; he looked dapper in a black suit, blue button-down, and black leather dress shoes.

Photos show them laughing together onstage during their friendly reception.

Harry was previously in London for the 2023 WellChild Awards, held on September 7, and flew to Germany after, where Meghan met him today. The royal has been a patron of WellChild, a U.K. charity for children with health conditions, for 15 years, and has attended the awards 11 times before.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to be attending the Invictus Games 2023 in Düsseldorf. The Duke will be in attendance throughout the entirety of the games and will be joined by The Duchess shortly after the games begin,” the Sussexes confirmed in a statement to Bazaar.com last month.
